Many people say the most important part of healthy active lifestyle is exercising. But as much as staying active and exercising is an important part, eating right is an essential component of a healthy active lifestyle!
It's almost impossible to exercise 365 days a year, but we must eat every day and that is why we must eat properly to stay healthy and full of energy. The food we eat provides us with all the energy and nutrients we need to survive and we can't go for days without eating but we can survive even if we don't lift a finger for 365 days.

Eating right is no rocket science and it's quite simple once you get a hold of the basis. We recomend to start a high quality diet throughout the whole year and make it your lifestyle. HOW TO STAY ACTIVE
Whatever your starting weight, shape or fitness level, there are physical activities that will be suitable for you and will help you in the direction of living a healthy active lifestyle. Check out on Herbalife Youtube Channel some easy fitness routines that may suit you, and try to remember the 4 pillars of healthy active lifestyle so you can maintain your weight and stay fit and healthy for the rest of your life.
1. It has to be EASY - so you don't complicate your own life (and eventually quit).
If you are currently physically inactive, start by making small changes to your daily life and introduce easy, low-intensity physical activities into your day. Use the stairs instead of elevators, walk or cycle instead of driving or taking public transport, start using a stationary bicycle or treadmill for half an hour a day or while watching TV, or take up pilates, yoga or dance classes to find support and company.
2. It has to be FAST - to be effective.
Once you are comfortable with easy physical activities, challenge yourself to boost your cardiovascular system and take the physical activity up another notch with higher-intensity workouts like hitting the gym, training for a 5K or 10K run, swimming or taking kickboxing classes. If your heart doesn't race a bit, it won't be as effective as you expect.
3. It has to be STRONG - to strenghten you.
In addition to maintaining your cardiovascular fitness, when you're in training for quite a while find some other activities that will focus on helping your strengthen your muscles. Get involved in high-intensity sports like lifting weights, playing basketball, soccer, tennis, or try training for a full marathon to feel how much discipline it takes to achieve some goals!
4. It has to be CHALLENGING - to better you.
The challenges you set for yourself are your path to a better form. No one can tell you what you need to do to make yourself better, it's your personal choice whether to try to do ten pushups even though you have never been able to do them or run a marathon. For many people pushups are too much while for other running a marathon is too easy, but it is important that you never stop trying to improve yourself at least a little. Challenge yourself every day to do something that is not easy because it is the only way and the path to become the best version of yourself!
